Color Blindness Awareness Month 2026 & EnChroma - Participation Form

If you're an organization please fill out the brief form below to join in supporting International Color Blindness Awareness Month (September), designed to increase awareness for the prevalence and effects of color blindness and mitigate its impact at school, work, tourist attractions and in everyday life for the estimated 350 million people worldwide who are color blind (8% of men and .5% of women).

This form is for organizations such as a museum, state/national park, library, K-12 school, university, Lions or Kiwanis Club - or business with at least 15 employees aiming to promote their organization's commitment to accessibility and inclusion.

This form is NOT open to individuals, if you're an influencer with at least 10,000 followers, you should fill out this form instead: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/INFLCBAM

Last year, more than 150 organizations used their voices and platforms in support. All we ask is that your organization undertakes at least ONE activity that promotes color blindness awareness and/or supports ‘color accessibility’ and inclusion ANY day during the month of September.

Do as little as one social media post in September using one of EnChroma’s customizable templates or create your own post(s) with easy-to-use tools we’ll provide. If you have any ideas you'd like to discuss with us, to get more support, or if you'd like to further collaborate, please email accessibility@enchroma.com.

EnChroma will also give you the option to receive two pairs of EnChroma glasses to be given away to color blind people (students, guests, staff, the public), however you wish (a drawing, someone in need -- you decide). This is optional. The glasses are not intended for you to keep and loan out.

QUALIFYING CRITERIA & STEPS:

You must be an organization such as a museum, park, library, K-12 school, university, tourism department, advocacy group, philanthropic club (Lions, Kiwanis, etc.), or a business with at least 15 employees or a firm with 5,000+ social media followers. In addition to the option of giving away EnChroma glasses, other supportive activities you might consider could include:

a- issue a press release to local media (we'll provide a template you can customize), and/or;

b- make a post(s) to your social media channels with customizable copy and images or create your own, and/or;

c- work with us to create and promote a curated "color blind tour" through your museum, park/nature center or venue (with a map/guide leading to particularly colorful works, plants or experiences for the color blind).

d- Design your own process for selecting recipients of the two free pairs of EnChroma glasses. NOTE: Recipients cannot wear prescription glasses for other vision issues (reading glasses or contact lenses are ok).

e- For teachers/schools, use our brief outlines for classroom lesson ideas to teach understanding and empathy for the challenges color blind students encounter in school and daily life.

f- promote, or offer a day or month, to host free color blind testing for the public via EnChroma's online color vision test at the top of enchroma.com (takes under two minutes to complete).
