A California ACEP Emergency Medicine Unsung Hero is the embodiment of what it means to be an emergency physician. Day-in, day-out, they demonstrate their commitment to the mission of the emergency department, their colleagues, co-workers, and patients in a variety of ways. They come in all shapes and stripes: those who can always be counted on to come through no matter what, those who go above and beyond, and those who bring comfort and a smile to the faces of those around them. They aren’t in it for titles or accolades, they do it because they care. This is your opportunity to give recognition to that unsung hero.

California ACEP will acknowledge Unsung Heroes throughout the year. Those not selected at a given time will be considered again later in the year.
