Background

The Transportation Professional Certification Board (TPCB) is considering the development of a Road Safety Audit (RSA) Certification program to enhance industry consistency, strengthen professional competencies, and ultimately improve transportation safety. This certification would establish a recognized standard for safety expertise, ensuring that practitioners have the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct effective audits and enhance roadway safety.

We invite transportation professionals to share their thoughts, opinions, and ideas on the potential RSA Certification program through this survey. Your input will help shape the program’s development.

The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete, depending on the level of detail you choose to provide. If you have any questions or additional comments, please contact Matthew Hardy, Deputy Executive Director and Chief Technical Officer, ITE, at mhardy@ite.org.
