Thank you for taking our Young Adult Survey!

Helping young people prepare to engage in work and life as productive adults is a central challenge for all communities. Young people are the workers of today and tomorrow. Many young people from low-income and less educated families find the path to economic security blocked. Young people who become parents in their teenage years and early 20s must navigate difficult transitions to both adulthood and parenthood in order for them and their children to reach their full potential. New evidence indicates parenthood can be a positive and powerful motivating factor for young people to achieve their goals. The latest neuroscience shows that young parents are still developing and maturing cognitively, making them quite capable of change and success despite encountering barriers earlier in life.

The Community Action Partnership team is interested in understanding the services CAAs around the country are providing and strategies agencies are pursuing to help young adults 18-24 and young adult parents 18-24 and their children reach their full potential.
