Founded in 1913, the Cremation Association of North America (CANA) is an international organization of over 3,700 members, composed of funeral homes, cemeteries, crematories, industry suppliers, and consultants. CANA members believe that cremation is preparation for memorialization.

CANA is interested in a variety of submissions. Complete this form to submit your content for:

  • CANA Events – the Annual Convention in late Summer and the Symposium in February – are unique with an emphasis on networking among the 125-200 decision-makers from businesses across the cremation sector. Each event offers just one track in one room, limited to just eight (8) 50-minute sessions over a full day Thursday and wrapping Friday at noon.
  • The Cremationist Magazine – This members-only magazine is a powerful resource for the cremation profession. Published quarterly, this is the go-to authority for the latest trends, best practices and newest products for cremation businesses. Articles can run from 500-2500 words depending on topic.
  • The Cremation Logs Blog – Published twice each month, the blog is a timely publication with the latest news, trends, and creative advice for industry professionals available publicly on the CANA website. Posts can run from 500-1500 words depending on topic.
  • Webinar Series – Scheduled with CANA staff, webinars are 45-minute sessions available live to anyone who registers. Recordings are later available online.

CANA Members have high standards for contributors on their topic and expertise. Content should offer practical solutions and takeaways for challenges modern funeral, cremation, and cemetery businesses face. Content to promote or sell any product or service will not be chosen.
Complete this form to submit your proposal. If you have multiple ideas to propose, submit a form for each.
