Dear Association Professional,

The purpose of this study is to identify the most significant motivations that lead association professionals to sit for the Certified Association Executive certification and the relationship of those motivations to certain demographic variables.

Little is known regarding the reasons association professionals choose to sit for the CAE exam. As the CAE certification evolves, the ASAE needs to maintain its connection with those working in the association management community and those professionals' motivations for pursuing certification. This study is designed to identify and classify those motivations

This survey of 42 questions will take less than 5 minutes to complete. Please note that this survey will be best displayed on a laptop or desktop computer. Some features may be less compatible for use on a mobile device.

Participation is anonymous and voluntary. There will be no personal identifiers associated with your responses. There are no direct benefits to participating in this study. However, there are possible benefits to the association management profession as it will shed light on the leaders' motivations in the association world.
