The University of Toronto's Centre for Advancing Collaborative Healthcare & Education (CACHE) at the University Health Network is pleased to invite submissions for the inaugural online magazine, launching October 2022!

Submit your story/event/announcement below.

Deadline for submissions: September 12, 2022.

We welcome articles, news, and stories related to collaborative healthcare and education which focus on collaboration, teamwork, and interprofessional work in the diverse contexts of health, healthcare, and social care.

As well, we are interested in upcoming interprofessional events, conferences, grants and award announcements, and other professional achievements.

Submissions welcome from all who contribute to health and social care, including learners, educators, patients/clients, families, caregivers, clinicians, and others.

Submissions should be approximately 250 words or less in length; Pictures and/or visual art pieces are welcome (1 MB or less; high-resolution colour jpegs or pngs preferred) may be included. Pictures brighten up the page and draw the eyes of the readers. Heads shots are acceptable; photos of something happening are even better.

1. Staying in Touch: News, Events, & Celebrations

This section includes upcoming events, accomplishments of note, and other news/dates that the CACHE community should be aware of. Examples include (but are not limited to) workshops, conferences, grants/awards, recent appointments, etc.

2. Learning in Motion: Education & Practice

This section includes articles relating to interprofessional education, the application of academic or learned concepts in practice, or significant developments in either of the above. Examples include (but are not limited to) IPE curriculum activity development, structured IPE placements, team collaboration in action, etc.

3. Including & Engaging: Community & Partnership

This section includes articles relating to the development of partnerships and interprofessional collaborative networks within the communities. These might be experiences, reflections, or write-ups relating to past, future, or ongoing projects related to community and partnership building. Examples include (but are not limited to) communities of practice, interorganizational, local, regional, and international collaboratives, etc.

4. Integrating Ways of Knowing: Research & Innovation

This section includes articles relating to research, innovation, and knowledge mobilization in the field of collaborative healthcare and education. Examples include (but are not limited to) reflections and/or writeups highlighting recent publications, future or ongoing projects, or anything else research- and knowledge mobilization-related.

5. Inspiring Change: Systems, Policy, & Leadership

This section includes articles relating to leadership in collaborative healthcare and education, including systems and policy changes and updates. Examples include (but are not limited to) reflections, experiences, tips, breakthroughs, or anything else related to this topic.
