Consultation participation
Consultation will be coordinated through nominated representatives from groups wishing to participate. To support inclusive and effective dialogue, up to six members per group may attend, with additional places considered depending on capacity.
We ask that participants commit to attending up to two scheduled workshop sessions (in-person or online) and reviewing any materials provided in advance. These materials may include technical reports, background papers, or discussion prompts relevant to the consultation topic.
Participants should be able to:
- Bring relevant knowledge, lived experience, or community insight
- Clearly express ideas and perspectives in a respectful and constructive manner
- Engage with others who may hold differing views
- Read and reflect on technical or policy-related materials
- Contribute to collaborative discussions aimed at identifying shared priorities and practical solutions.
This approach is designed to ensure that consultation sessions are well-informed, inclusive, and focused on helping to shape practical and inclusive outcomes.
Consultation format
This is a targeted consultation with active friends and resident ratepayer groups and will provide participants several ways to get involved via:
- Information sessions (in-person or online) to share knowledge and feedback
- Workshops (in-person) to collaborate and provide detailed feedback
- Online tools to submit feedback at a time that suits you.
