American Rescue Plan Project Evaluation Criteria

The City of Greensboro will receive $59.4 million in federal American Rescue Plan (ARP) for COVID-19 relief and economic recovery. Help the City decide how it will evaluate projects or programs for funding.

The proposed project or program should comply with and/or be recommended in an existing City plan, such as the Capital Improvements Plan, the 2040 Comp Plan, Transportation Thoroughfare Plan, Parks &Recreation Strategic Plan, or other department plans.

The proposed project or program should have a preliminary design and cost estimate, can be implemented during the grant’s required timetable, and won’t have significant ongoing costs.
