Pride in Place Bootle South Survey

Have your Say!

The Bootle South area (see map below) has been selected to take part in the UK Government’s Pride in Place programme — a 10-year project giving communities the power and funding to improve local spaces, support culture, and boost pride in where they live.

The Bootle South area is one of 250 areas that will have £20 million investment over 10 years. Sefton Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) have been appointed to coordinate the project.

Through community consultation local residents and organisations will help create a shared vision for the future of the area and decide how investment should support local priorities.

The programme aims to:
  • Strengthen community pride and belonging
  • Improve local places and spaces
  • Support community-led projects and facilities
  • Empower local people to take action in their community
  • Create long-term positive change in Bootle South
