Pathways to Excellence: Building the Rural Behavioral Health Workforce in New Mexico - Master of Social Work Program
The MSW Program at ENMU has been awarded a HRSA grant for specialized experiential and technological training in rural behavioral health. The Pathways Project is designed to focus efforts on meeting the urgent demand for qualified professionals ready to practice in high-need, high-demand areas, particularly in the care of children, youth, and adolescents, within interdisciplinary teams, and within integrated care environments.
If you are accepted into the Pathways Project, you are required to complete Interprofessional Educational Training, Mentorship sessions, and specialized field placements. The Pathways Project requires student trainee involvement for a year (two semesters) from fall 2026 through spring 2027 during clinical/final field placement.
