Support our National Office Staff: Our national office staff are a dedicated, hard-working and passionate team that work diligently to advance DWDC’s mission every day. On occasion, there are volunteering opportunities that help support our staff. Please review the list below to learn more about what some of our DWDC staff teams do.  
 
Development team: The development team sources and builds relationships with our supporters and donors to help us achieve our financial goals. This includes drawing people to our organization who can assist with time, talent or financial support, making connections to funders or supporting the organization through fundraising events and initiatives. Administration of mail outs, tax receipts, holiday cards and fundraising campaigns are also handled by the development team. 
 
Communications team: The communications team handles the overall messaging for the organization ensuring it is consistent and accurate across all platforms. The channels include the website, blog, social media, webinars, emails, campaigns, newsletters, the Annual Report and support documents both external and internal. All media relations are managed by the communications team in collaboration with senior staff and the board of directors.  
 
Volunteer team: The volunteer team supports our chapters with recruitment and onboarding. They keep accurate volunteer engagement metrics and contacts in our volunteer database, Better Impact. The team posts volunteer opportunities, conduct interviews and then place volunteers in compatible positions.
