In celebration of National Reading Month this March, Erie Family Health Centers is excited to bring back Reach Out, Read Out! Virtual Storytime Series and Fundraising Drive, featuring friends and members of our Erie community. All funds raised support the Reach Out and Read program that provides high-quality, age- and language- appropriate books to patients six months to 6 years old. The program aims to foster parent-child relationships and develop a child's language skills early, which is key to success in school and beyond.

We are looking for people of all ages who share our love for books to join our team of Erie storytellers and (or) fundraising drive leaders. 

Storyteller: This is a chance for you to share your favorite book with the Erie community. We will provide you with recording instructions and share your video on Erie's social media pages and website. You can do the reading solo or with friends and family. We encourage readings in a variety of languages. 

Fundraising Drive Leader: You can increase children's access to books have access to books by raising funds via a personal fundraising page and/or social media. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to cover the cost of over 300 bilingual books. Choose the option to be a fundraising drive leader (below), and we will send you more information.
