Award Criteria
The winner of this award will have demonstrated outstanding compassion and made a tangible difference to the lives of the people they support. They will have built and maintained positive relationships with the people they support, their families and their colleagues. They will also have shown a strong commitment to their own Learning and Development
What are we looking for?
Evidence of the positive impact the young person has had on the people they support and their colleagues since starting in their role.
Examples of how the individual has provided high-quality support, including:
-Supporting meaningful activities and experiences.
-Going above and beyond their standard duties.
-Demonstrating dedication and commitment.
-Taking time to understand what matters most to the individuals and families they support.
Eligibility Criteria
Aged 24 or under
Has successfully completed probation
Has completed the Care Certificate (if working in a frontline care role)
Consistently goes above and beyond expectations
Acts as a role model for the organisation and the care sector as a whole
