Award Criteria
This award recognises the vital role of workforce development within care services and celebrates an individual or team that has demonstrated exceptional commitment to developing the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of the workforce.
The winner will have shown enthusiasm, innovation, and determination in identifying and responding to the training and development needs of their staff team. They will have played a key role in promoting continuous learning, supporting professional growth, and creating opportunities for colleagues to develop their careers within Adult Social Care.
The ideal candidate(s) will have established effective learning and development programmes, successfully secured funding or resources where appropriate, and inspired staff to actively engage in training and career development opportunities.

Demonstrates a significant contribution to workforce learning, development, and career progression.
Has led, supported, or implemented learning and development initiatives that have positively impacted staff or services.
Can provide evidence of improved engagement, skills development, qualifications, knowledge, or workforce outcomes.
