Project Title: National CyberWatch Center Member Survey

Summary Description of Research Procedures
1.  You will receive an email with instructions and a weblink to the member survey.
2.  The survey questions pertain to your involvement in NCC programming, and your institution’s academic programs and offerings in cybersecurity.
3.  The survey is expected to take 10-15 minutes to complete.
4.  Your responses will remain confidential, and reported in aggregate with the data from other NCC members.

Purpose of Study
The purpose of this research is to inform the activities and programming of the National CyberWatch Center (NCC), a five-year initiative funded through the National Science Foundation.  The survey data to be collected is expected to provide project stakeholders with a richer understanding of how NCC members are: 1) collaborating with one another, 2) interacting with the programming elements, and 3) using, adopting, and disseminating original resources and curriculum to promote and advance cybersecurity education nationally.

Benefits/Potential Risks or Discomforts
The benefit of this research is that it will advance the current and future work of the National CyberWatch Center.  Members of NCC have a vested interest in contributing to the content, composition, and relevancy of NCC’s programming, and collaborating with one another on matters related to cybersecurity education, research, and workforce development.

This research study involves minimal risk to you. To the best of our knowledge, the things you will be doing have no more risk of harm than you would have in everyday life.

Confidentiality Information
No personal data will be collected and results will be submitted as aggregate. Data will be stored in the website collecting the information and locally in the researcher’s machine. This data will be available to the researcher, the Institutional Review Board and other representatives of this institution, and any regulatory and granting agencies (if applicable).
Voluntary Participation
Participation in this research is voluntary. Declining to participate will in no way impact your relationship with National CyberWatch or Prince George’s Community College. If you decide to participate in the study, you have the right to withdraw at any time.

Consent Statement
I understand the procedures described above and all questions have been answered to my satisfaction. By submitting to this informed consent, I agree to participate in this study.
