The ICCM and Sands have developed this training course specifically for anyone involved in working with bereaved people who have experienced pregnancy and/or baby loss. The course provides an invaluable introduction to the unique grief of pregnancy and baby loss, how grief can affect people and impact the workplace, and how to build a supportive environment

Suitable for
anyone working with or supporting those who have experienced pregnancy or baby loss.
Equipment required
A computer, phone or tablet with internet connection, video and microphone function, able to run Teams, either as an app or online.
Learning outcomes
• Understand the emotional and psychological impact of pregnancy and baby loss, and how grief and bereavement may manifest in the workplace.
• Knowledge and understanding of how best to support colleagues in the workplace.
• Apply principles of compassionate communication to engage sensitively and appropriately with those affected.
• Increased confidence in navigating emotionally complex conversations related to pregnancy or baby loss.
• Access and utilise available resources, tools, and guidance to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
