2019 Reel Futures Workforce Readiness Workshops

Reel Works believes that by changing the storytellers, we can change the world. Our technical training program inspires and empowers passionate NYC youth to share their stories through filmmaking.

The Media MKRS Workforce Readiness Workshop prepares talented young New Yorkers for the next step: a career in media.

Details: By completing the survey below, you are applying for a unique, seven-session workshop geared towards preparing the next generation of film and media professionals for the real world through classes on employment. Workshops cover a wide variety of subjects ranging from interview techniques to networking tips. After completing this workshop, you are eligible to be placed in an internship through Reel Works. Eligibility: Participants must be at least 16 years old by January 2020. No prior work experience is necessary for entry. Accepted applicants will be eligible for internship placement via Reel Works upon completion of the program.
