Autumn Campus Ramble

Celebrate the distinctive flora, fauna and landscapes of autumn with a quiet morning (9:00 a.m. to noon) walk through the OSU campus on Sat., Oct. 22. We’ll reflect on the turning of the season at a handful of varied sites around campus through writing and/or photography.

The Ramble will cover approximately two miles at a leisurely pace. Participants will be encouraged to unplug for a few hours and fully experience their immediate surroundings. All levels of writing and photographic experience are welcome.

We’ll share our favorite images and writing from the Ramble at an evening session (7:00-8:30 p.m.) on campus on Thurs., Oct. 27. Location to be announced.

Leaders: Cub Kahn has led many photo workshops and written four books about nature photography including The Art of Photographing Water. Jill Sisson, who has spent recent summers as a seasonal naturalist in the Sawtooth Mtns., Death Valley and Silver Falls St. Park, shares her nature writing and photography through the Brambled Way blog.
