The Southeast Texas Nonprofit Development Center is proud to announce a special opportunity for emerging nonprofit founders in Southeast Texas.

Through funding provided by CenterPoint Energy, we are selecting two (2) organizations to receive comprehensive nonprofit formation support designed to take them from early concept to fully recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.

This initiative provides hands-on technical assistance, structured guidance, and step-by-step support through the entire nonprofit formation process in Texas.

17.Filing fees are not included in the formation services. Those selected for the program, must pay their own filing fees. Filing fees include (1) $25 - Certificate of Formation and (2) $275 - Form 1023 EZ for Tax Exemption.(Required.)
18.By applying for and accepting selection into the Texas Nonprofit Formation Program, the applicant understands and agrees that participation requires completion of the full nonprofit formation process through 501(c)(3) filing. In the event the organization voluntarily withdraws or fails to complete the program requirements, the applicant agrees to reimburse the Southeast Texas Nonprofit Development Center the full program value of $2,000.(Required.)
