Since 1979, Leadership Macon has thrived because of the passion and commitment of its participants and coordinators. To continue this legacy, alumni are invited to help shape the program’s future by serving on the 2026 Leadership Macon Class Advisory Board.

This group of 21 alumni will serve one-year terms, working in pairs to plan a class day or another area of the program. Serving as a Class Advisor is both a meaningful way to reengage with Leadership Macon and a significant time commitment.

Each 2-person Advisory Group will be responsible for:
  • Designing and executing their assigned class day or program area
  • Defining the day’s key themes, messages, and intended impact
  • Contacting speakers, scheduling venues, and coordinating meals
  • Working within the budget set by the Chamber
  • Submitting class day agendas for Chamber approval
  • Collaborating with Chamber staff for marketing, communications, vendor payments, and legacy program information
