Gale Session has requested input from you on some important matters affecting our Congregation.  Session values the input of all its members and adherents.

In addition to Rev. Scott Sinclair’s retirement in June of 2021, Session recognizes certain matters that impact Church in general, may also impact us at Gale:
1.     A world pandemic.
2.    Declining Church attendance and support.

No one knows exactly how Church will change after COVID, but your thoughts about a number of matters will help Session and a new minister steer Gale into the future. The questions in this survey will help us to know, for instance:

o   What people think about different forms of worship
o   What people think about the role of Gale/church in the community/world at large
o   What people think about the use of technology

We encourage each person in your household to fill out their own survey, adults and youth.

Some of the questions allow you to add comments. We are using this survey to find out what people are thinking. It’s possible that ideas will be further explored, but there is no certainty that all ideas presented will be acted on.  You don’t have to answer every question.

Your response will remain anonymous.

If you would like to participate in further discussion, please contact the church office. We may set up individual interviews or focus group opportunities in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this important survey by February 16.  It will take about 20 to 30 minutes to complete. Session appreciates your prayerful consideration of these questions.
