In the spirit of the Basketball Against Alcohol and Drugs (BAAD) tournament, Yellowhawk Tribal Tobacco Prevention Program and Behavioral Health Department want to honor individuals in our community with 10+ years of sobriety and healthy living. It is important that youth in our community have role models who have dealt with addiction and work daily to stay clean and sober. Last year's nominee submission was a great success that we added the 30+ years category this year!
Nominations may be submitted beginning February 1 to 21, 2024, 11:59PM.
After the nomination window has closed, up to 8 individuals may be selected by Yellowhawk Public Health and Behavioral Health programs. We will notify selected individuals and ask if they would like to be honored and recognized at the BAAD Kick-Off Dinner on March 21, 2025.
A big thank you to the community for last year's submission of the wonderful individuals and celebrating them as part of the annual BAAD tournament last year.
