You are invited to participate in a survey of householders' bushfire risk resilience. The survey takes 15 minutes to complete. Many of the questions have been designed so they simultaneously provide valuable bushfire risk information.

The survey is being conducted by the University of Wollongong as part of a study funded by the New South Wales Rural Fire Service. It will support the development of an online Bush Fire Household Assessment Tool.

If you have more than one residence, please answer this survey in relation to your residence most at risk from bushfire.

Confidentiality of survey participation and answers is assured. You will never be identified in any use of the data. Participation is voluntary and refusal to participate in the study will not affect your relationship with the University of Wollongong or the NSW Rural Fire Service.

The research results will also be published in scholarly publications. To receive a copy of any such publications or for any other questions about the research please contact Dr Christine Eriksen at the University of Wollongong on (02) 4221 3346 or ceriksen@uow.edu.au.
