Great things are happening on Busch Boulevard in Tampa, Florida! 

New crosswalks with HAWK (High-Intensity Activated crossWalK) signals, known as Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons, are now being installed on Busch Boulevard. These new crosswalks include pedestrian activated signals to help alert drivers to people crossing the road. Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons are proven to reduce crashes between motorists and pedestrians. Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons are also installed on Hillsborough Avenue and Florida Avenue.

Lane closures, traffic pattern shifts and reduced speeds are common in work zones. Make sure to slow down when entering the work zones on Busch Boulevard and keep an eye out for road workers. The construction is estimated to be completed by the end of 2020.
