We're working alongside Burnley Council to reduce motorbike and vehicle nuisance affecting 6 green spaces in South West Burnley . The sites being considered are:
1. Sunny Clough Park
2. Barclay Hills / Griffin
3. Lawrence Avenue
4. Harold Avenue
5. Hargher Clough Park
6. Melrose Avenue / Kinross Street.
We would like to do this by making changes that restrict vehicle access to community spaces, while also enhancing the outdoor environment for people who live close by. Some suggested improvements include new fencing and gates, as well as planting schemes that could see new trees, hedgerows, and wildflowers added.
Before the plans are finalised, the team would like to know what residents and visitors think of the proposals. You can share your feedback on the draft plans, and share your own ideas and suggestions for the project too.
