Hello! Welcome!
We are so excited to begin a new OTA Trailblazers Program. Here we go! When we launched our inaugural Builders experiment last year, we wanted a way to elevate the creatives of our region who were either starting a project or finishing one. We wanted to support them, celebrate their progress and then offer them a stage to boldly and bravely talk about their work. It was an incredible experience.
This time around, we are excited to partner with local cable and Internet service Midco, who intends to empower and equip the Trailblazers of the region throughout the duration of the program. We also only intend to offer the program to up to six people (2 from South Dakota, 2 from Minnesota and 2 from North Dakota) and to someone who is solely focused on the betterment of community. With innovative ideas and a willingness to experiment, we see our Trailblazers as ambitious and ready to improve, change and make a difference in the places they call home.
Each participant will be supported by Midco and the OTA team over the course of three months, culminating at OTA's final event in the fall. That conference will feature the Trailblazers and their ideas alone in the spotlight. For this presentation, individuals will receive a $1,500 honorarium and travel expenses for the event.
