This survey is being sent on behalf of Build Up for San Mateo County's Children, a new initiative designed to grow and improve the supply of child care and preschool. Build Up is led by First 5 San Mateo County, 4Cs, the San Mateo County Office of Education, the County of San Mateo, and the Center for Early Learning/Silicon Valley Community Foundation.

Build Up is mobilizing interested community members as advocates for child care-friendly policies and resources in the cities of San Mateo County. There are many ways for community members to get involved, such as:
  • Attending City Council meetings
  • Sending letters to the city
  • Attending community input sessions for new developments
  • Telling your story in our newsletter or other communications materials
Please take 5-10 minutes to complete this brief, 9-question survey to let us know if you are interested in being an advocate for new and better facilities for child care and preschool in San Mateo County. Your responses will be kept confidential, though you will be contacted by a member of Build Up if you indicate an interest in participating.

The survey will be open through April 20th; we appreciate your response.
