The British Asian Professional Awards 2026The Professional and Business Services (PBS) sector encompasses a broad range of knowledge-intensive industries that provide vital specialist support to businesses across the UK. This includes legal services, audit and accountancy, advertising and market research, management consultancy, architecture and engineering, and recruitment services.
As one of the UK’s most important economic pillars, the sector supports approximately 4.5 million jobs, accounting for around 14% of total UK employment, and contributes in the region of £300+ billion in Gross Value Added, representing roughly 12% of the UK economy.
