Thank you for registering for the Bridges out of Poverty workshop sponsored by Harbor Beach Community Connections.

This overview will help our community and service providers understand the dynamics that cause and maintain poverty.
You will learn about poverty from an individual and systemic perspective. Research shows that the Bridges’ Resource Builder Model is working in many communities in the United States. Certified Trainer, Kay Balcer will present concrete tools and strategies to help our community prevent, reduce, and alleviate poverty.

Please note that each session is limited to 80 participants. After eighty, we will be developing a waiting list. Confirmations will be sent the week prior to the event so that we can make room for those on the waiting list.

Healthcare: 8:30-10:30 AM

Executive and Administrative Leaders: 11:30 AM-1:30 PM

Cross-Sector Community Leaders and Professionals: 2:30-4:30 PM

Refreshments will be provided at morning and afternoon sessions; lunch at 11:30 session. Please provide any dietary restrictions so that we can accomodate your needs.
