This course is designed to establish an underwriting foundation in the wholesale, specialty and surplus lines market through a combination of online and in-class courses for insurance professionals new to surplus lines and/or interested in developing an underwriting skill set. The course is case study centric and focuses primarily on the Property and General Liability lines of business. Attendees expand their insurance terminology and strengthen their underwriting approach.
