You are now a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta (MLA). You are a Private Member of the government caucus. This means the political party you belong to won the most recent election. Being a Private Member means you are not part of the government Cabinet (you are not a Minister). However, one of your many responsibilities as a Private Member is to propose new Bills to respond to the ever-changing needs of Albertans.
