The purpose of WCSU Marketing Association's "YOUR BIG IDEA" competition is to inspire students of
Western Connecticut State University to think creatively and develop their innovation talents and entrepreneurship skills.

Rules:
YOU MUST BE A CURRENT WESTERN CONNECTICUT STATE UNIVERSITY UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT AND HAVE YOUR STUDENT ID NUMBER
Please keep YOUR BIG IDEA appropriate and inoffensive.
Only original ideas will be accepted. You will be disqualified for cheating and plagiarizing. See WCSU Academic Honesty Policy in regards to cheating or plagiarizing.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS Friday October 23, 2026 at midnight.
Judges (composed of business professionals) will select 5 finalists (if possible) and those finalists will present their BIG IDEA LIVE, pitching their idea to both the judges and the audience. $300.00 will be given to the ultimate finalists of YOUR BIG IDEA!
FINALISTS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY Monday October 26th AND WILL BE PRESENTING Wednesday October 28, 2026 at 5 PM in WS #218 President's Reception Room.
