The 80% by 2018 effort has been a tremendous success. Over 1,500 partners have signed the pledge, we have numerous examples of systems having achieved 80% or higher screening rates, the commitment to support colorectal cancer screening has strengthened in state after state, and most importantly, screening rates nationwide are going up. While the 2018 national colorectal cancer screening rate won’t be available until 2020—we do know everyone who has invested in the 80% by 2018 effort can reflect on our shared progress with pride. Having said that – many of you have told us that you are just now hitting your stride; thus, we absolutely plan to launch a new initiative to continue beyond 2018.

This survey is the first step in our efforts to gather input from NCCRT members, 80% by 2018 pledged partners, ACS staff, CDC grantees, and other stakeholders, as we plan our work beyond 2018 and design the next phase initiative to raise colorectal cancer screening rates. This survey should take no more than 5-10 minutes of your time. Your responses will be kept confidential. Survey findings will be shared in aggregate only and not attributed to any individual, although if your answers are particularly insightful, we may request an interview with you to explore your suggestions in greater depth. Thank you in advance for your valuable contribution.
