The Bettridge Centre is an independent community-owned and managed facility which offers a wide selection of activities for the whole community and for visitors to the area.  You may remember the first public consultation we held some time ago about the possibility of re-developing the garage as a community gym. The feedback we got from that consultation has been very useful and we want to build on that positive momentum with a more substantial development of the building and what happens within it.  Our mission is to respond to community demand with a variety of sports, arts and community activities at affordable cost to strengthen our community and improve the lives of local residents of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.  We have endeavoured to upgrade the place regularly so that this continues to be a valued and busy community space in the heart of Newtonhill.

We will only do this if the community wants it, if it will make a difference, be financially viable and not duplicate other activity in the area.  To ensure that this is the case, we want to ask your views. Please take a few minutes to fill in this short survey.  This research has been funded by Aberdeenshire Council and is being delivered independently by Community Enterprise, an organisation with experience of community based research.

All information gathered will be treated in the strictest confidence.  Paper copies of the survey can be obtained from the Bettridge Centre.  The survey can also be accessed online at surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Bettridge and will be open until the end of June.
