New Beginning Administrator Mentor 101 Workshop: Registration 2018-19

This session uses the new Oregon Beginning Administrator Mentor professional learning that was created and first implemented in the 2017-18 school year. A requirement of the Oregon Mentoring Grant is mentors must attend an ODE approved Mentor Professional Learning to support new and experienced mentors in learning and developing their mentor skills and strategies. Completing the ODE In-Person New Beginning Administrator Mentor 101 will fulfill this requirement.

All districts are encouraged to send personnel who:

- are new Beginning Administrator Mentors
- are experienced Beginning Administrator Mentors wanting to keep their mentor knowledge and skills current and/or
- will be facilitating this professional learning back in their district/region.

The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) is offering the following free professional learning opportunity.

Administrator Mentor 101 Workshop -

September 28, 2018 - Train-the-Trainer Session

The workshop will be at:

Location: TBD - (Salem-metro area)

In addition, there will be online 2 hour professional learning sessions throughout the year and an additional spring in-person full day session. The dates are still to be determined.
