The Future of the Beeton Memorial Arena & Park: HAVE YOUR SAY!

Town of New Tecumseth Beeton Community Centre Design Project

Haldimand Memorial Arena & Park
The Beeton Memorial Arena (built in 1947) is a cherished part of the New Tecumseth community that provides recreational and social opportunities. Its historical significance as a long-standing hub for community activity in Beeton further underscores its importance. Despite ongoing repairs and maintenance, the arena building is aging, and the cost of operations continues to rise. More critically, the facility no longer meets modern functional requirements or user expectations, particularly in areas such as dressing rooms, washrooms, and accessibility.

The objective of this survey is to gather your input on plans for a new community centre at the Beeton Community Park near the public Library. We invite your thoughts on options for the Beeton Memorial Arena and ideas to improve the park.

We want to hear from you! What do you think the new community centre should offer. Your input is important to ensure the future of the Beeton Memorial Arena and Community Park reflects the needs of residents. This information will greatly aid the design and project teams in preparing a report to Council in June 2026.

Your responses are considered CONFIDENTIAL – no individual respondents will be identified publicly through the results. This survey should take about 10-15 minutes of your time.

Thank you!
