Welcome to the community survey for the Beall Avenue Asphalt Art Project. In November of 2023, the City of Rockville, in partnership with VisArts, received an Asphalt Art Initiative grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies to enhance Beall Avenue between Maryland Avenue and N. Washington Street. This project aims to improve safety and make the street more attractive for residents, visitors, and businesses.
The City of Rockville and VisArts are working to develop the creative direction for this project. We want to hear from you about how you feel walking, rolling, biking, or driving through this area and what you would like to see out of this project. Below is the draft site plan for the project that shows the project area (artwork locations are demarcated in yellow).
