Grafton Grassroots Site Development Survey: Beacon Park |
Give Feedback on the Future of Beacon Park!
In 2019, after three-years of negotiations with the State of Ohio, the Village of Grafton purchased 711 acres of former prison farmland called "Beacon Business Park." Roughly 650 acres split between "Beacon North" (about 397 acres) and "Beacon South" (about 251 acres) is available for development. For a helpful landmark, it's the area in the Northeast of town (by the correctional institutions). This land is currently a greenspace, which the village leases as farmland. Beacon Park is zoned industrial and already has public power, water, storm-water, municipal and other services.
Since 2019, Grafton has operated a 4 MW solar facility on part of this land, under a long-term agreement. As the Village looks to attract new businesses and possibly expand utilities or industrial projects, we want to know: what do YOU think should go there?
Whether you see more value in developing the land or leaving it as-is, your answers below will help us identify the best path forward. Please note this survey is intended only for residents of the Village of Grafton. The poll will only be viewed by staff at Town Hall and is open until midnight on January 30th, 2026.
Thank you. We value your input.
