Bath Community Energy’s primary purpose is to develop renewable energy projects, in partnership with and for the benefit of the local community. Bath Community Energy is currently developing hydro and solar PV projects and is considering the development of wind turbine projects in the near future. There is a plan in place to develop 1.5MWe of renewable energy across these three technologies over the next few years, sufficient to develop a financially viable community enterprise as well as provide a return to members and a community fund for further local projects.

The current directors are all local people with between them many years experience of working on renewable energy, energy efficiency and community projects.

The purpose of this survey is to gauge the level of local interest in investing in such a community enterprise. Your responses are only an indication of potential interest and do not constitute any commitment to respond in any particular way in the future and will not be taken as such.

This survey is not part of any offer or invitation to purchase shares in Bath Community Energy or any of its projects and you must not rely on any information in it. If Bath Community Energy offers shares to the public at a future date, further information will be published in a separate document. Your details will not be passed on to anyone else and your responses will be used only to help Bath Community Energy develop its strategy for building local renewable energy projects in partnership with local communities.
