We are pleased to announce that the joint ESGE-ASGE position statement, “Endoscopic treatment for the management of complications post bariatric surgery: European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy position statement” is approaching publication.

The public comment period is open until 10/19/25.

All reviewers are required to submit a conflict of interest disclosure and acknowledge a non-disclosure agreement to be able to view the position statement draft.

All comments will be reviewed by the authors. Revisions to the draft are at the discretion of the lead authors and the ESGE-ASGE.
