Could businesses working together make an even bigger difference to Bangor?
Bangor city centre businesses are being invited to come together to shape an important conversation:
Could a Business Improvement District help create a stronger, more successful and more vibrant Bangor?
At this stage, we want to hear what matters most to local businesses, what would make the biggest difference, and what a Bangor BID could look like if it is developed, by Bangor businesses, for Bangor businesses.
The Bangor BID Task Group, a group of local businesses and stakeholders are looking at better ways to manage and market the city centre. As part of this process it is looking at the possibility of a Business Improvement District. Over 340 places in the UK, including 8 in Northern Ireland use this tried and tested model to invest into their place. We are looking at whether it may be appropriate for Bangor city centre. This survey forms one crucial part of the work.
As a business within the Study Area we would like to hear your views to help us understand priorities for both your business and the environment you trade in and would be grateful if you could take 10 minutes to complete this survey. The survey should ideally be completed by the business owner or the manager responsible for day to day running of the business.
All information will be treated in the strictest of confidence. We will not share your personal details, but we will use the information you provide in this survey to inform our future discussions.
