6.The Legislature exempted senior citizens who earn less than $100,000 annually (married/joint) or $78,000 (single/head of household) from paying state taxes on Social Security income. Will you or someone you know benefit from this new exemption for senior citizens?
7.In an effort to reduce the cost of housing, the Legislature expanded eligibility and benefits for Minnesota’s Homestead Credit Refund program and the Renter’s Property Tax Refund program. Are you familiar with these programs?
