When A Child Misbehaves in Class
As teachers, I'd like to know how much you like to involve parents when their kids are a challenge in the classroom.

If a child in your classroom demonstrates challenging behavior, do you engage the parents?

If you do engage the parents, to what extent?
I only inform them when we meet for parent/teacher conferences.
I call them as quickly as I can just to inform them.
I ask them to come in for a meeting to discuss the problem.
I set up a meeting and expect them to help me address the problem.
I expect them to help me solve the problem and invite them to come into the class to monitor the behavior.
I meet with them and turn the problem over to them to solve, and expect them to solve it quickly.
