The ISAWWA Education committee is seeking presenters for the annual Plant Maintenance Technologist conference, planned for Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Medinah Banquets in Addison, IL. The conference brings together water and wastewater professionals to educate plant maintenance staff, operators, and engineers on all things related to maintenance of equipment and infrastructure used in water and wastewater treatment and delivery.

Previous conferences have included a wide range of topics from valves, pumps, MCCs, instrumentation, chemical feed systems, and more. This year, we are looking for presentations on chemical feed pumps, mechanical/electrical design basics and equipment, plumbing challenges, sewer bypass design and implementation , control panels, wellhead maintenance, and other maintenance related tasks or products. Presentations are geared towards highlighting routine maintenance procedures, specific equipment/product effectiveness, maintenance-friendly design and installation of equipment, and establishment of maintenance programs to maximize equipment life and operational efficiency.

Maintenance personnel, equipment manufacturers, and engineers are encouraged to submit an abstract (500 words or less) electronically by Friday, February 7th, 2025, to the ISAWWA Education committee.
