Texas Lawbook Firm Business Review for 2024

The Texas Lawbook Firm Business Review will examine key 2024 business metrics for corporate law firms operating in Texas. We ask firms to submit data on lawyer headcounts, firm leadership, revenues, profits, diversity and pro bono activities. The survey’s results and subsequent interviews will serve as the basis for a wide-ranging series of stories on corporate law in Texas, highlighted by The Texas Lawbook 50 rankings on lawyer headcounts and firm revenues.

The survey has three parts – actually, three separate, shorter surveys. Part One deals with the number of lawyers at your firm and its leadership. Part Two looks at diversity and pro bono. Part Three focuses on revenues and profits.

Dividing the survey into three parts allows firms to complete and submit each section separately. The reason is simple: We realize you may have the lawyer headcount numbers or diversity data ready to submit sooner than the financial numbers. We also recognize that the person at your law firm handling the lawyer headcount may be different from the person with the financial data.

The deadline to submit Part One: Lawyer Headcount and Firm Leadership is Past Due.

The deadline to submit Part Two: Diversity and Pro Bono is Past Due.

The deadline to submit Part Three: Firm Finances is Past Due.

Once law firms have submitted their data, Texas Lawbook reporter Mark Curriden would like to set up an interview with one of your law firm leaders to discuss the firm's successes and challenges from 2024 and what lies ahead for 2025.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions. Thank you for taking the time to do this. Please confirm receipt of the survey. You can complete the survey via Survey Monkey online or completing a PDF version (please email christi.trammell@texaslawbook.net to request).
