Application for your community team to join the EduSpots network!

EduSpots is looking for teams of community members who are keen to join the EduSpots network as we continue to expand our network of Spots across Ghana. Apply here today by Friday 3rd May 2024 (deadline extended).

What are the requirements?

We are looking for passionate groups of individuals who are already leading education projects of some form within their communities, whether a community library, or a literacy, STEM, environmental or gender equity activity. We are looking for people to apply in groups of at last four individuals who are keen to be actively involved in the project.

Communities should already have a safe space of some form to store educational resources, alongside a safe space for learning to take place (even if outside under a tree). We usually work in rural underserved communities in Ghana but we are open to considering new projects at this point, in Ghana and beyond.

What are the benefits?

Through joining our network, you would gain access to:

Our Ignite, Catalyse and Peer Mentor training programmes and regional conferences
Staff support (in the areas of early years literacy, JHS literacy, STEM, girls empowerment and Spot Leadership) alongside support from regional coordinators.
Wider resources such as books and phonics cards. You will also be able to apply for grant funding in the future, alongside other members of our network.
Note that we do not build libraries or schools (unless you have proven your impact over the longer term), and that we are looking for projects who already have a functioning space for holding activities.

This process is competitive. Please do take the time to answer in significant depth, giving us all the detail we need to review your application. For the longer questions, we would expect 100+ words of detail.
