Help us advocate for employees with disabilities by improving our data

Accurate data drives everything. When we have accurate data for our employees, we are better at measuring and understanding what diversity looks like across Mass General Brigham.

Sharing if you have a disability in PeopleSoft allows us to identify trends, create benchmarks, and reach our workforce goals for improving our employees’ experiences. Data recorded in Peoplesoft is used as aggregate data. Aggregate data is group data created by combining individual-level data. As an employer, we are also mandated by the government to ask and report this information in aggregate. This mandate is for the purpose of helping them ensure that employers are engaging in fair and equitable hiring practices.
