Register Interest // Short Courses 2026
BECTU Vision's short courses are funded by Scottish Union Learning and provided free of charge to freelance film and television practitioners based in Scotland. Places are allocated via an application process with priority for places going to BECTU members. On occassion, courses can be supported by other funders and therefore eligibility criteria may apply.
Training courses are programmed based on feedback from the local industry so to help us identify priorities, we've compiled a list of training we have delivered over the last year or so, along with some new proposed courses. Please select all courses you are interested in attending and you'll be notified when we schedule the course and open for applications.
More courses will be added so keep an eye on our social media for announcements on
LinkedIn,
Facebook,
Instagram
and
BlueSky
.

If you're not based in Scotland, you can find training opportunities for BECTU members through our colleagues in
