North Nashville Transit Service - Operator Feedback

Route Proposal Feedback

The North Nashville Transit Center (at 26th & Clarksville) will open in the Spring of 2024.  With that, we will also be proposing to improve frequency and connections in and around the center.  
The following changes are proposed for the spring.  Please provide comments, suggestions, or feedback on these changes.  You can skip any routes you do not have comments on - just scroll to the next route .

1.Under this proposal:
Route 9 will run out and back from Central, through Metrocenter, to the North Nashville Transit Center instead of doing a loop.  

3 buses will run this run from 6am-6pm; buses will run every 20 minutes (60 minute loop).

2.Under this proposal:
Route 14 will run out and back from Central. When it gets to Buena View, buses will continue via Kings Lane, then L-Clarksville Highway.
When buses get to the North Nashville Transit Center, they will continue downtown as the 22. When buses go out as the 22A, they will continue to Route 14 via the same routing. The 14 will not be connected to the 28 anymore.
This bus will operate every 20 minutes peak, every 30 minutes midday, and every 40 minutes nights and weekends.

Goals: More connections for passengers on Route 14, including to grocery stores. More frequent service.

3.Under this proposal:
Route 71 will start at Greenfield Station on Gallatin Pike. It will continue R-Trinity, continue Buena Vista, L-Clarksville Highway to the NNTC. When it gets to Buena View, buses will continue via Kings Lane, then L-Clarksville Highway.
When buses on this route get to the North Nashville Transit Center, they will continue downtown as the 22. When buses go out as the 22B, they will continue to Route 71 via the same routing.
This bus will operate every 20 minutes peak, every 30 minutes midday, and every 40 minutes nights and weekends.

Goals: Better crosstown connections.

4.Under this proposal:
Route 22 will start still operate between Downtown and the NNTC. Buses will continue from there as the 14 Whites Creek, or as the 71 Trinity Connector.
This bus will operate every 10 minutes peak, every 15 minutes midday, and every 20 minutes nights and weekends.

Goals: Frequent service for the busiest part of the route, including better night & weekend service.

5.Under this proposal:
County Hospital Road will no longer be part of the Route 22. The 77 will serve County Hospital Road after it drops off at the NNTC. Then, it will continue back to the 77.
This bus will operate every 30 minutes peak, every 45 minutes midday, and every 45 minutes nights and weekends.

6.Under this proposal:
Route 42 will operate as an out and back route only on the north part of the route. The south part of the route (gray below) will not operate.
This bus will operate every 30 minutes during the day, and every 60 minutes nights and weekends.

Route 75 will operate more frequently.
This bus will operate every 20 minutes peak, every 30 minutes midday, and every 30 minutes nights and weekends.

Route 77 will operate more frequently.
This bus will operate every 30 minutes peak, every 45 minutes midday, and every 45 minutes nights and weekends.

9.Under this proposal:
Route 41 will operate local service from 6am-6pm. This bus will operate every 60 minutes, going clockwise. This bus will connect to Gallatin Pike instead of going to Central.

Goals: Better job access, service on Brick Church Pike, connection to Dickerson & Gallatin for people at Moormans Arm & Whites Creek (and other places on the route)
